ADAKU (Sol) Releases “Burn the Old Letters,” A Cinematic Neo-Soul Reflection on Memory, Loss, and Letting Go

Yerevan, Armenia — April 22, 2026 — Virtual African artist project ADAKU (Sol) returns with its new single “Burn the Old Letters,” a haunting fusion of Neo Soul, R&B, Neo Jazz, blues, and electronic music. The track explores themes of memory, loss, and the quiet emotional resolution of releasing the past.

Built on smoky harmonies, slow-burning grooves, and atmospheric electronic textures, “Burn the Old Letters” occupies a space between late-night R&B confession and modern cinematic jazz. The result is an intimate yet expansive soundscape, evoking the imagery of a room illuminated by fading light and the symbolic act of letting old letters go.

At the core of ADAKU is a deeply personal and intergenerational narrative. The project is created and produced by ArutPogo, who uses AI as a creative instrument while grounding the music in human memory. Much of the lyrical material is drawn from poetry written by his father during the 1980s and 1990s, transforming private reflections on love, faith, doubt, and everyday life into contemporary sonic compositions.

“ADAKU is a conversation across generations,” says ArutPogo. “I’m taking my father’s words from another time and letting them breathe in a different sonic universe. ‘Burn the Old Letters’ is about that moment when holding on becomes heavier than letting go.”

While ADAKU is constructed with the aid of AI-generated vocal performances, harmonies, and arrangements, the project remains firmly guided by human authorship and curation. ArutPogo shapes, edits, and refines each element to create a cohesive emotional and musical narrative that bridges technology and lived experience.

“Burn the Old Letters” follows previous ADAKU releases “Why Don’t You Come” and “Lord of the Mist,” further developing the project’s signature blend of soulful vocals, blues-influenced melodies, and subtle electronic atmospheres. Together, these works form a cohesive sonic world where memory, imagination, and emerging technologies converge.

“Burn the Old Letters” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
