Grammy-nominated artist, filmmaker, and cultural storyteller Tobe Nwigwe continues the rollout for his forthcoming album The Bridge with “Perfection,” featuring Nigerian music legend Flavour, acclaimed soul singer C.S. Armstrong, and producer Tierce “Kizzo.” Following the release of “All or Nothing” with Labrinth, the new single offers another glimpse into the world Tobe has built ahead of the album’s release on August 21 via Human Re Sources.
“Perfection” explores the idea that love is found not in flawless people, but in choosing to embrace someone completely. Rather than chasing impossible standards, the song celebrates the beauty that exists in imperfections and the people who help shape us into who we become. Tobe’s reflective verses are joined by Flavour’s unmistakable Highlife influence and C.S. That connection extends beyond the music. The single artwork features Tobe’s mother wearing a Houston-style gold grill, bringing together two worlds that have shaped his identity.
