22year old RnB artist, Jiire Smith releases his debut EP titled ‘Diamond in A Process’. The EP consists of 7 tracks including previously released tracks, ‘Bus 170’ and ‘Baby You’re A Diamond’.
Born in Nigeria and based in Abu Dhabi, Jiire’s sound remains a combination of his vision as an artist and inspirations from award winning artists like Olivia Dean,Tems and many more. Diamond In A Process is an RnB project with jazz andneo-soul influences that talks about personal growth, tenacity, love, grief and
comfort in knowing that life goes on in spite.
Speaking on the meaning and importance of this EP, Jiire Smith shared;
“As my first project, I want this EP to capture the beginning of a new chapter in my life. It sets the tone for how I see the world and the mindset I’m choosing to move forward with. Through the heat and the breaking, I want people to understand that the beauty is already within and you just have to push through
to bring it out.”
Diamond In A Process represents growth fueled by passion to create and be the best version of yourself. There is a divine meaning behind human existence and like a diamond, you have to pass through a grueling process to come out perfect and shiny.
