Nigerian rapper and Afrobeats star Olamide is set to headline The O2 Arena on 25 March 2027, marking the biggest London headline show of his career. Presented by Hera Touring in association with YBNL Entertainment, the concert will see the YBNL founder take his catalogue of Street-Pop anthems and Afrobeats hits to one of the UK’s most prominent live music stages.
The announcement follows Olamide’s headline performance at OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025, extending his history of major London shows. His move to The O2 represents another milestone for an artist whose influence on Nigerian music stretches beyond his own catalogue to the careers of artists he has helped bring to the forefront.
Widely regarded as one of the defining figures in modern Nigerian music, Olamide helped propel Yoruba-language rap and Street-Pop into the mainstream, building a distinctive sound that moves between Yoruba and English while retaining a strong connection to the streets and sounds of Lagos. Through YBNL Entertainment, he has also played a significant role in the careers of artists including Fireboy DML, Asake, Adekunle Gold and Lil Kesh.
His extensive catalogue and collaborations with leading artists across the African and international music scenes have reinforced his position in Afrobeats. His musical partnerships include Wizkid, Davido, Omah Lay, Darkoo, Tiwa Savage and Young Jonn, reflecting his reach across different generations and strands of contemporary African music.
The March 2027 concert is expected to feature a career-spanning set, bringing together the street anthems that established Olamide’s reputation and newer releases from his self-titled 2025 album, Olamidé. Organisers have also confirmed that special guest performances featuring artists from Afrobeats and UK music will be announced in due course.
