Rundown Launches to Help Music Managers Stop Losing Split Sheets andProducer Credits

Rundown, a new release management platform built for music managers, A&Rs, and label executives, is now live at rundown.ink, offering a centralized system for managing the administrative work behind a music release from recording session to distribution.

The platform addresses a common problem in music management: release preparation often begins only days before a song is scheduled to drop. By then, essential information such as producer credits and split sheets can be buried in old conversations, while audio, artwork, agreements, and other release assets remain scattered across different devices and cloud services.

Rundown takes a different approach by moving release management to the beginning of the process. Managers can log a song as soon as it is recorded and maintain a running checklist of everything required before it is ready for distribution.

Rundown’s core features include detailed song credits covering songwriters, producers, vocalists, A&Rs, and other contributors, with support for multiple contributors under each role. Its live distribution checklist tracks essential materials including audio, artwork, split sheets, and producer agreements.

The platform also includes a built-in split sheet generator designed to assist with publishing and royalty calculations, alongside purpose-built sending workflows for different release stakeholders. Managers can send complete paperwork to distributors while sending only the necessary music and artwork to DJs, radio stations, and blogs.

Rather than creating another storage system for managers to maintain, Rundown works directly within their existing Google Drive, allowing release materials to remain organized within a familiar environment.

“Every manager I know has a story about losing a split sheet or forgetting who produced a song by the time it’s ready to release,” said Solomon Akinkunmi, pka Frvky, founder of Rundown. “This isn’t a generic productivity app repurposed for music. It’s built specifically for the way a release actually comes together, from the first session to the final send.”

Rundown is currently available with a free Standard plan for managers working with up to two artists, while additional plans designed for larger artist rosters and label-scale deployments are in development.
