For the longest, Austrian Energy drink, Power Horse, has actively been involved in shaping popular culture and equally partaking of it in Nigeria, and they are taking this relevance a notch higher with their announcement of ODUMODUBLVCK as brand ambassador.
ODUMODUBLVCK came into the mainstream limelight in 2022 and has since been known for how much grit and energy is encoded in his persona. His latest single, ‘Not All That’ highlights his achievements in the scene and wears the same hardcore, energetic feel as Power Horse embodies.
For this reason, no one else would have made a perfect fit to represent Power Horse’s “Unstoppable You” agenda; perfectly portrayed in the ambassadorship announcement video.
The video paints a picture of the everyday Lagos struggle and hustles of average Nigerian people on a creative frequency. ODUMODUBLVCK also cameos with b-rolls of his strides and energy that exist at the core of black culture.
From Lagos’ skating culture to Abuja’s vibrant car drift events, to other scenes shot in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state – the video adequately captures the essence of both brands and was directed by Deeds Studio for Deeds Studio Production, with Quam as producer.
In line with Power Horse’s history of promoting and supporting creativity, good vibrations, and persistence through popular and socio-culture, this collaboration goes on to solidify their stance on supporting local Nigerian creatives, including the BMX, events, streetwear, music, parties, and film spheres.
And just as the lock complements the key in synergism, this partnership between ODUMODUBLVCK and Power Horse only further tells the oomph stories of both brands, with second-to-none vitality, and the lucency of Naija energy.
