Delmar Browne Gives “Move Shake DanceBreak” Its First Standalone Spotlight

Brooklyn-based house DJ and producer Delmar Browne is bringing renewed attention to “Move Shake DanceBreak,” a standout track from his debut EP, The New Now, released on December 10, 2024. Although the record has been part of the EP since its release, it was never issued as a standalone single or given its own press campaign until now.

Browne first presented The New Now at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2024 before releasing the four-track project independently through CD Baby that December. Nearly two years later, “Move Shake DanceBreak” is receiving its first dedicated media spotlight.

The track draws from a broad range of dance music influences, bringing together disco, deep house, Afro house, amapiano, funky house, Afrobeats and chillout elements. Its appeal lies in how these sounds come together around infectious grooves and melodies, creating a dancefloor record that prioritises movement and rhythm.

With this standalone spotlight, Browne offers listeners another opportunity to discover a track that may have been overlooked within the original EP release. It also brings fresh attention to The New Now and the musical influences that shape his work as a DJ and producer.
