Ghanaian Afrobeats Artist Psycho Sherry Shares the Spontaneous Story Behind New Single Rover

Emerging Afrobeats artist Sheriff Fuseini, professionally known as Psycho Sherry, is introducing listeners to Rover, a new single born from an unexpected burst of creativity and studio chemistry.

According to the artist, Rover came to life during what was initially meant to be a casual studio hangout with his producer. As the producer began building the instrumental, Psycho Sherry found himself instinctively vibing to the beat. Before long, melodies and lyrics started flowing naturally, resulting in a song that took shape almost effortlessly.

The recording process unfolded within a remarkably short period, but the energy in the room made it clear that something special was happening. Even before the track was mixed and mastered, everyone in the studio repeatedly played the record, drawn in by its infectious feel and spontaneous creation.

Having officially pursued music for just over a year, Psycho Sherry describes his journey as one driven by passion and dedication. The artist has already begun building momentum with previous releases, including his single High-Way, which spent several weeks on music charts in Finland, demonstrating his growing international appeal.

Psycho Sherry is currently signed to Ghost Empaya Music, an independent label he is helping build alongside a small but ambitious team. Through Rover, he continues his mission of experimenting across different sounds and genres while establishing himself as a promising new voice in the Afrobeats landscape.

With its organic origins and feel-good energy, Rover serves as a testament to the magic that can happen when creativity strikes unexpectedly, offering listeners a glimpse into the authenticity and passion that define Psycho Sherry’s artistic journey.
