FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 15, 2025
This July, The DIY Collective and KVLT WRLD bring Label Labs to Abuja; a one-day workshop designed for rising artists, creatives, and brand storytellers navigating the intersection of music, visuals, and culture. Powered by The Core Experiment, Label Labs will unpack how today’s music talents build compelling identities beyond the sound.
From content strategy to visual branding and cultural influence, attendees will engage in unfiltered conversations on:
● How visuals shape all the layers of artist identity
● Maintaining creative integrity while winning the algorithm game
● Branding yourself like a product without selling out
● How music genres influence visual and fashion culture across demographics
The DIY Collective is a growing creative platform empowering the next generation of African talents through workshops, mixers, mentorship, and hands-on learning across music, fashion, content, and more.
This workshop marks the first stop in Abuja for “A KVLT Bender”; a one-week lineup of events by KVLT WRLD, featuring fashion and culture pop-ups, Llona’s headline concert, and a wild Evenintheday edition on Sunday July 27th. Label Labs kicks things off by giving back to the creative community, setting the tone for a week of energy, connection, and culture.
Whether you’re an artist, visual creative, or brand thinker, this workshop offers the tools and insight to level up your creative direction and public presence.
