UK-based Nigerian gospel recording artist and worship leader Bayo Daniels has released “Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer),” a new single that gives a contemporary Afrogospel interpretation to one of Christianity’s most familiar prayers.
Created in collaboration with music producer and songwriter Tobby Daniels, the track combines contemporary gospel expression, infectious African rhythms and heartfelt lyrics to celebrate God’s faithfulness, protection and unconditional love.
Drawing from the opening lines of the biblical prayer, “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name,” Bayo builds on its familiar declaration of reverence, turning it into an engaging worship experience that connects traditional Christian devotion with the energy of modern Afrogospel.
Beyond its musical reinterpretation, “Our Father” is rooted in personal gratitude and faith. The song serves as a testimony of God’s goodness, a declaration of trust and an invitation for listeners to celebrate His presence through every season of life.
