Emerging independent artist Aalllim has officially released his latest single, “One More Time,” now available on all major streaming platforms. A deeply personal record born from heartbreak, the song explores themes of love, regret, and the longing for a second chance.
Originally written in 2017 following the end of a relationship, One More Time captures the raw emotions of someone wishing they could rewrite one of life’s biggest mistakes. While reconciliation never came, the experience became the foundation for a song that transforms heartbreak into an honest and relatable musical narrative.
“One More Time was written shortly after a breakup when I was overwhelmed with regret. I wanted the chance to fix what I considered one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Although we never got back together, this song became something beautiful that was born from that experience.”
Recorded in Aalllim’s home studio in March 2026, the track underwent a creative transformation during production. Initially conceived as a pop record, the artist infused it with African-inspired rhythms and melodies as a tribute to his Cameroonian heritage, resulting in a sound that seamlessly bridges contemporary pop with African musical influences.
Born in Douala, Cameroon, Aalllim relocated to France at the age of five. His musical journey began in 2009 during his boarding school years, where he taught himself music production using FL Studio before recording his debut song, “On S’est Fait La Guerre,” featuring fellow independent French rapper La Spirale. Since then, he has continued to refine his artistry, drawing from both his multicultural upbringing and personal experiences.
