Mr Money With The Vibe

Asake. Mr Money With The Vibe. Joha. We all know him by different names, and he has produced stellar songs this year.

His vocal and flow prowess, and ability to carry the crowd is second to none right now, and he already has a rising fan base that would hand him a Grammy if they could—me included!

.

Despite the fact that he’s released amazing singles like Bandana, he has never released an album. Until now. Mr Money With The Vibe is out now, and its songs are beginning to top the charts in just under 24 hours.

.

MMWTV starts off with Dull, which has a solemn beat and chants to ease listeners into the album. In this song, he promises both the listeners and his family that he’s never going to take his foot off the pedal. He also expresses gratitude to people like Badoo for giving him the opportunity to make waves.

.

Terminator follows next, which is a song we all know. This bop is the most played song on several music streaming platforms right now, and it has a beat you can move your body to.

.

He talks about his desire to get close to someone and tells her to “come chop my bana” and “No procrastinating.” The ultimate bad boy loverboy, if I may add.

Organize is the song that comes right after, and strongly uses instruments like the Saxophone to give a melodic beat. In this song, he expresses that he’s free-spirited, organized, and ready to achieve all he sets his mind to.

.

For Peace Be Unto You, the song starts with that “epp me epp me” snippet everyone absolutely loves. This melodious beat, coupled with rhythmic progressions talks about his newly-found fame and how he’s handling it.

.

Dupe is the next song after this, and it continues with the use of the saxophone. In this song, he expresses how grateful he is about everything and how humble he wants to remain. He also urges listeners to be grateful for all they’ve achieved, and all they’re going to.

.

Muse comes up after, with a slow and progressive beat. He fully expresses his lover boy side here, and how he wants to risk it all for his lover. He tells her not to fear so they’d lose themselves in their love.

.

Johais a song many OAU people remember, from his show as a student back then. Joha remains a chant in this song with a catchy beat, and he talks about his hustle to get here, among other things.

Nzaza is the eight song on the list, and it has a slow, inspirational beat when compared to the other songs on this list. In this song, Mr Money With the Vibe talks about his resolve to stay determined and resilient.

.

Ototo starts off with violin sounds and a catchy beat. Asake expresses how we all came to this world on our own, and how we all have our crosses to bear. In the post-chorus, he advises listeners not to relent. He ends with a fortified assurance of how he’s going to undoubtedly become wealthy.

.

Reason is the 10th song on the list, and Mr Money talks about how he never lost faith in God and how he manifested all he has now.

.

Sunmomi has a poppy upbeat, and he continues with his loverboy campaign in this song 😂. He urges a particular girl to come closer to him. Who are you hiding, Mr Money?

.

The album’s intro is a song we all know and love; Sungba. In fact, this is one of the songs that earned him nationwide recognition. Featuring Burnaboy(Odogwu), they both talk about their love for big asses.

.

This album was such an amazing debut album with such relatable lyrics. If this album is anything to go on, Mr Money could become one of the greats of this current generation of artists. It gets a 9.2/10 from me.
