Growing up, he started off writing songs from the church choir and developed passion for the art. Alpha p was inspired by genres such as trap, R&B, afrobeat. And was was inspired by musical acts such as wizkid, wande coal, d’banj, banky w; and foreign artiste such as the weekend, Lana del rey and Khalid. Alpha is a versatile artiste who believes his sound doesn’t just fit into one genre and that makes him explore various sounds.

His debut project “KING OF WOLVES” was released on 14th, November 2019 under UMG Nigeria. With the lead single “Paloma” produced by London, opening the floor for his entry into the music space.

Moving further, Alpha P went on to jump on the remix of Cross my Hear by SA rapper, Tellaman in 2020. He also got co-signed by one of SA’s a-list rappers, Nasty C. While the lockdown kept everyone indoors, he went on to put out his first single of that year “quarantine”. 11th November, 2020 he released a second body of work “Wolves and Mustang Vol. 1” which contains 4 tracks and a guest appearance from ABJ top boy, PsychoYP.

Alpha P got his big recognition in 2021, when he got featured on Justin Bieber’s hit single, “Peaches (Masterkraft Remix)” alongside Omah Lay. Another big moment for Alpha P was having a song featured on the soundtrack list for “Coming to America 2”. He further went on to dish out his first single of the year “Oh no”.

Notable collaborations are with Poco Lee, PsychoYP, Tomi Owó, Savage, Jeriq, Smallgod, Panaache, Mainland Block Party’s confluence project.

There are speculations that he is one of the acts to be featured on wizkid’s MLLE(more love, less ego) album. We really can’t wait for that wiz effect that comes with an epic and life changing story for Alpha.

No new music out yet from him, mid ‘21. But we’re optimistic that he has got loads of jams in lock and would be dishing out soon.
