It is common knowledge that Friday is the special day of the week when artists choose to release new music. By default, it can get tough to decide on the best songs. This is why ‘The Best of the Very Best of New Music Friday’ exists.

1. Joeboy ft Qing Madi : Adenuga






Everyone’s favorite Lover Boy, Joe Boy is back with another mid-tempo earworm titled ‘Adenuga’. 3. Ladipoe ft Rozzz & Morelo – Hallelujah




Skilled Nigerian rapper, Ladipoe is in his best form on his latest single, ‘ Hallelujah’. Ladipoe collaborates with music artists, Rozzz and Morelo to bring this sonic perfection to life. Over Afro-rhythms and guitar chordal progressions, Ladipoe and his collaborators deliver brilliantly, implementing skill and passion.



4. Body Civilian





‘Head Start’ is written and performed by Emoseh Angela Khamofu, better known as Bloody Civilian. Bloody Civilian produces the enervated track with co-production credits from Ditweni, and Young Willis. Head Start stands out from a plethora of music releases this week. 5. Nezsa – Pressure




Nigerian soul singer, Nezsa is astounding in ‘Pressure’. Nezsa’s style is unique, and she maintains her usual timbre in the smooth soul/R&B number.
